Today while I was helping my youngest daughter complete a class project, my oldest daughter came in. She saw a picture of something we were working on and said:
"Geez, what is up with that?"
To which I was beginning to respond:"Well dear-" she quickly interrupted me and said:
"Mom. That was a rhetorical question. I didn't actually expect an answer."
Oh, my bad!!

Uh-oh. Just wait until she's 13. She's going to have lots of well-reasoned arguments about why you should let her do this or that. I feel for you.
