Her picture is the one to the left of her head, behind the guy. He is not part of her drawing. The objective was to draw a desert landscape with the illusion of space/depth.Since my last post, a lot has happened:
1) I passed my comps (where I have to orally defend what I wrote for my written comps). Yea! I don't ever want to have to do that again. (I don't have any pictures of this.)
2) Celebrated our 15th anniversary. Yea! We had a great dinner at Durant's (see pictures above).
3) My oldest daughter got her picture chosen for the district Art Show. (see picture above)
4) My youngest daughter sang at the school Multicultural Night. (see video).
5) Both girls got sick. Here is a funny story related to that. We were at the Dr.'s office waiting for some test results and my youngest daughter pulled out her a strand of her hair and dropped it and then said to me: "Mom. My DNA is on the floor!". Oh her Aunt Lisa would be so impressed!!
It is looking like the month of March is probably going to be even busier! Can't wait for Spring Break!

Have I mentioned, in the last 24 hours, that Daughter #2 looks exactly like you? She does. Also, like you, she is funny. I will try not to drop my DNA on the floor.

It is so obvious how different your girls are. Sydney always seems so laid back and casual and Emma seems like such a girly girl. Not ever meeting them in person I may be wrong...by the way, they are both CUTE!!!
I miss you guys, all of you! I makes me so depressed sometimes, that you guys are all so far away! I loved the video of Emma singing, so sweet. And she's right about the DNA, although, it's probably just the mito type, meaning just maternal origin, not identity. (Geek alert!!) I wish I could also see you, and the Kilpatrick/Pickavances at Spring Break.

I love how different they are and yet how much they love each other and play so well together. I guess it is because one is like me and one is like their dad!! Lisa-that is so funny about the DNA. I will have to explain that to her. I miss you also and can barely wait until July. Yea!!! Wish you could be here in March but July is better than never!!
